Velvet and brass are two key interiors trends we’ve loved for a long time – and they’re certainly here to stay. Luckily, interior design isn’t as fickle as fashion and when a trend takes hold its generally carries through from season to season. Some of our favourite new pieces for AW17 include this brass wire frame chair with green velvet seat pads and arm rests along with these luxe upholstered dining or lounge chairs with curved back and brass base. New products can be seen and purchased on the webshop now for delivery in-store and online from end August. Visit the webshop to see full collection and AW17 preview.
For this interior design project we created a bespoke kitchen with doors sprayed in Hague Blue (Farrow and Ball), added brass door knobs by Buster and Punch along and brass sink teamed with rough-luxe brass mixer tap. We just love the colour and materials combination of blue cabinetry, exposed brick wall and brass accents. Brushed brass pendant lights and brass wall lights featured in this kitchen and more brass lighting can be found on our webshop.
The bar cart is most certainly a ‘must-have’ this season and we’re swooning over our Luxe Brushed Brass Bar Cart with statement circular design (as seen in store – above right). A soft industrial design that also looks a little bit vintage, this bar cart will bring a touch of glamour and high-style to your interior scheme. How to style it? This piece of furniture is so versatile it can be styled in many ways from stacking with pots and plants for a botanical display or loading with your favourite tipple ready for the party season. Alternatively, add a table top lamp, a few books and a plant or vase, maybe a basket and you’ve created a whole different styled vignette. Think of the bar cart or drinks trolley as flexible piece of furniture, like a side table, that can moved around your space and styled to suit the room or occasion.
Sleek and elegant trolley or side table with clear glass looks great with colourful glassware, a stack of books plus bottles and a vase in rich brown and green tones.

The humble mirror is back to being the centre of attention in the interiors world, with interior designers, stylists, bloggers and designer hotels alike all choosing a simple and minimal design that creates a huge statement. Make like the Time Hotel in NYC and style a round mirror that’s so versatile it can create a quick refresh in any corner of your home. Need some styling ideas…?

From rich emeralds to soft dusky hues, green is one definitely one of our favourite colour trends. A richer, warmer and bolder colour that seems to transcend all trends, green will be sure to introduce a harmonious, luxurious and fresh vibe that works well in both modern and traditional spaces.
Go bold and create a statement wall with deep green paint, our favourites are Fired Earth’s Malachite and Benjamin Moore’s Deep Green, style with contrasting natural textures and raw furniture, such as natural canvas chairs and rustic wooden furniture. Using vibrant jewel tones against muted colours focuses your eyes on soft and sophisticated neutrals, enlarging and warming the space.
Or showcase lighter and brighter green hues with style subtle green accents, that can be found in our luxe velvet cushions and rattan chairs.
